Editorial policy
Everything published here is written by a named editor and reviewed by a named product researcher before it goes live. This page explains the rules those two people work to, which claims are off-limits regardless of how well they would convert, and how mistakes are corrected.
Who writes and who reviews
Content is written by Ivana Marić, content editor for personal and foot care, and reviewed by Nikola Petrov, product researcher for cosmetic ingredients and labelling. Neither is a medical professional and neither is presented as one — that is deliberate, and it is why this site contains no medical opinion.
The review step checks three things: that the ingredient descriptions match the label, that no claim crosses from cosmetic into medical territory, and that timelines match the biology rather than the marketing.
Claims that are not permitted
The following are excluded from every page on this site, on every product, in every language, including inside quotations and inside sentences that deny them:
- that a cosmetic treats, cures or prevents any disease;
- that a cosmetic replaces a medicine or a professional consultation;
- promises of a certain outcome, an outcome by a fixed date, or an assurance that a product carries no unwanted effects;
- endorsements, opinions or case histories attributed to medical professionals, clinics or patients;
- invented statistics, invented percentages and invented study citations.
Where a page needs to correct a misconception, it does so descriptively rather than by repeating the forbidden phrasing.
How sources are chosen
Ingredient pages link to PubMed searches rather than to a single hand-picked paper, so that the literature can be read in full — including the studies that found nothing. Regulatory context comes from the European Commission’s CosIng database and from COSMILE Europe.
Every external link on this site is checked before publication. A link that returns an error is removed rather than left in place to look authoritative.
Reviews and testimonials
User reviews shown on country pages are supplied by the distributor from its order records and are published with the first name and city the customer gave. They are not edited for style. They describe personal experience of a cosmetic product and are not evidence of a medical effect — which is why none of them is presented as such.
Dates, corrections and updates
Pages carry publication and modification dates in their structured data so that search engines can see how current they are. They are not displayed in the body text, because a visible date tells a reader nothing useful about whether the information is right.
Corrections are made to the page itself. If you spot an error, write to info@mikoherb.farm and it will be fixed at the source.
Commercial relationship
This site takes orders for the products it describes, and it earns from those orders. That is stated plainly rather than buried, because a reader is entitled to weigh it. The editorial rules above exist precisely so that the commercial interest does not decide what the pages say.
